I've been a bag blogger and haven't posted in ages. Here are some pics of the house. Yes I know its at night, but oh well. Soon enough I'll get new ones up. We also have our partial retaining wall up and the contractor we hired to install stairs and a walkway finally came and we have that done now. Its coming together beautifully. I really do love our house. Shannon is the best. He's always at it. Laying sods and changing things in the house. he is truly the best!

Now all I really want now is a new kitchen table, new bedroom set and some more pics for the walls. But we won't get too much of that before we have to start planning the wedding. I'm looking at making my own cake and my own wedding invitations. We have the church and reception area booked. Looking into photographers now and florist. So much but its very difficult when your not even in the same province. LOL. Oh well Tea will help a lot. She is after all the maid of honour.

I'm a horrible Blogger. Well the house is finally starting to become a home and I am now officially Dr. Mallaley. I passed my Licensing exam, Yay!! I've been let lose on the floors. I just hope everything works out. Hoping not to kill anyone. Starting with urology and learning a lot. I have to still pick up my end tables and my stools for the kitchen counter. But other wise the house is coming along well.

Well its been a while since I last posted. Facebook has taken over my life.

Well for an update. We bought a house. Should be ready to move in May 3 or so. I hope so because that is when the appliances are going to be delivered.

Great News!!!!!

I got matched! Obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial University. Exactly what I wanted. Couldn't ask for better. Now its time for some house shopping with my honey. I can't wait to see him. I'm so excited. I had to get two of my friends here to check to make sure I was reading it correctly. Talk about stressful.

Sorry so long since I last posted. I'm still in Australia. I will post some pics soon. Heather sent some to me but the email didn't go through.

I've been having an amazing time but I miss my honey.

I'm really stressed and nervous tonight since I will be finding out my future. Will it be obgyn or family. Its not secret that I want obgyn. I hope the big giant computer is kind to me this evening. Because of the time difference I will be staying up till 3 am to see that I got matched too. Not too much I can do about it.

Ok thats enough for now. I'll repost with my result if I'm not crying!!! Poor Shannon, I've been driving him insane.

On the Go!!

Yes that is the title of my blog. Sorry its been a while since I last blogged. I've been all over. At first I thought this travel things was going to be fun. Oh my I was so wrong. Between delayed flights, cancelled flights, running through airports and the amount of money on cabs and hotels I'm about to have a breakdown.

Right about now your probably wondering what the hell am I talking about. Well people this is CARMS. The Canadian Automated Residency Matching System. Where you apply to programs you want and hope to god you get in LOL.

Ok so here are the places I've been and have yet to go:

Edmonton-missed my hockey game and time with shannon because of weather and flights but did get to interview

Calgary-Had a nice time getting lost with my honey and I did interview

Home for a few days

Halifax to interview and spend time with the girls. Oh and small problem with the train (no breaks)

Queens-with sarah to interview, met up with Nadia and Babar

London-Never did much of anything but did interview and currently its 1309 and I'm wasting time before my 1940 flight.

Next I'm off home for 2 days then Montreal, Halifax, St. John's and finally back to Halifax before flying out to Australia.

So I have pretty good excuses for not staying on top of blogging but I can't remember what hotel or city I am in when I wake up in the AM.

Going slowly insane.

Hopefully will be in moncton tonight. But then how do I get to lorne. Always an interesting question

Weekend!

Well last night we out to a friends and had snacks and deserts. Was a lot of fun. Then this am I had to drop my car off of ford to be fixed. Lovely. Oh well at least that is done. Just got to go and pick it up now. I really feel lost without my car when I don't have it. I like the pathfinder but I really love my little ford focus hatchback. I mean we have our moments together. But she's a good car. LOL. I love her even more since Shannon got a command start in for me Christmas 2005. Never a cold bum anymore LOL.

Well today is kind of going to be a run around kind of day. First I have to go pick up my car and then I have to finalize my paper work for Australia and send that along. Then I have to go get a new pair of pants fixed. Look for another white tank top and check to see if my suitcase has been repaired yet. I have to try and fit in some gym time since I was a bit bad last night with the cheese cake.

At some point on the weekend I need to prepare a presentation for my McGill interview. I have a few more flights to book and some things to pick up for the trips. I hope not to check my bag so everything has to be below 100ml, so annoying. I hope my straightener won't have any issues. I can't go anywhere without that.

It really goes by too fast. Its not actually all that relaxing either.

So yesterday I got up and left to pick up sarah at the airport. Afterwards I went to the gym, had a great workout and then home to quickly shower. Left again with Heather and Sarah off to Costco this time. I love their crackers there!! Then we went to chapters, picked up The Giver (didn't read it as a child, heard it was amazing) by the way the new sisterhood of the travelling pants is out, but I couldn't make myself pay hardcover prices LOL. Then we are off to the mall. Picked up a nice tank and pair of dress pants from Evny. Saw a really nice hat I may get at the Gap. Then we are off to pick up some take out Indian from India Gate (great indian restaurant in town) and then over to Sarahs for a night of Greys and some treats, Anietra brought some great stuff.

Today woke up at 8:00, started reading my new book and fell asleep until like 12:30. It felt great. Now I'm doing laundry, just finished eating brunch and will soon be off to deliver Sarah to the airport. Then its off to the grocery store to pick up a few needed items, maybe to the mall to pick up that cute hat and them home to do some reading for tomorrow and maybe a bit of my book. I'd like to pick up a mocha too. Having that one yesterday started the addiction all over again. Then tonight I have to head to the gym and then get a good nights rest for tomorrow.

Weekends are never truly relaxing, but they are fun!

Heather is making cookies now, I must sneak downstairs and steal a few, LOL
