Vacation Time!

Well I'm not on vacation. Two whole well deserved weeks. But is it starting out well. Not really. Shannon was suppose to get in at 1130AM today. We were then going to go for a nice romantic light lunch and then off to his mom's for the night before we leave for my home tomorrow. Well his flight didn't come in, delayed till 1330, still didn't come in. He is now in Halifax Airport. They are attempting to land again at 1530. Why all the delays? Because of couse they would decide to build an airport in the one area of St. John's that is delayed!!! Sometimes I truly wonder.

Anyway so now I'm stressed. We are waiting till 5 pm, if he is not in, then I drive out to his moms. Switch cars and shannon stays in Halifax while his mom and I drive across this rock by ourselves.

I'm also a bit miffed because yesterday I got my nails done. So nice, so pretty, so chipped now!While trying to lug my giant suitcase into my trunk I chipped my manicure. How annoying.

Well I'm off. Hopefully this time shannon will be at the airport.

Come on Vacation!

Well I write my last board exam Aug 11. My honey comes home Aug 12 and we are out of here on Aug 13. I can't wait. Driving across the island with Heather. Going to be stopping in Halifax for 2 days. Should be nice. I need to pick up some things at MEC for my trip to Australia and I really want to do a small bit of shopping there. Maybe pick up a few accessories to wear in the Virgin Islands. After Halifax we head up home. I can't wait. I haven't seen my dad since Christmas or my sister or my nephew. Lucas would have grown so much by now. So after a few days home we are on the road again to Magic Mountain. Lucas hasn't stopped talking about it since last summer. It should be a blast. I can't wait. Shannon and I had so much fun last year on the slides. Lets here it for double tubes!!!. After that we may be taking off to PEI for a few days.
Shannon and I are also hoping to get a bit of running in while we are home. I haven't been as good as I should be. Probably because of the weather and that I haven't been feeling a-1 lately. Hopefully tomorrow brings a better day. It is Friday after all, although it is still a day of studying. But soon my baby will be home and I will get to cuddle into his arms and then it won't seem half as bad.
