Weekend!

Well last night we out to a friends and had snacks and deserts. Was a lot of fun. Then this am I had to drop my car off of ford to be fixed. Lovely. Oh well at least that is done. Just got to go and pick it up now. I really feel lost without my car when I don't have it. I like the pathfinder but I really love my little ford focus hatchback. I mean we have our moments together. But she's a good car. LOL. I love her even more since Shannon got a command start in for me Christmas 2005. Never a cold bum anymore LOL.

Well today is kind of going to be a run around kind of day. First I have to go pick up my car and then I have to finalize my paper work for Australia and send that along. Then I have to go get a new pair of pants fixed. Look for another white tank top and check to see if my suitcase has been repaired yet. I have to try and fit in some gym time since I was a bit bad last night with the cheese cake.

At some point on the weekend I need to prepare a presentation for my McGill interview. I have a few more flights to book and some things to pick up for the trips. I hope not to check my bag so everything has to be below 100ml, so annoying. I hope my straightener won't have any issues. I can't go anywhere without that.

Weekend


It really goes by too fast. Its not actually all that relaxing either.

So yesterday I got up and left to pick up sarah at the airport. Afterwards I went to the gym, had a great workout and then home to quickly shower. Left again with Heather and Sarah off to Costco this time. I love their crackers there!! Then we went to chapters, picked up The Giver (didn't read it as a child, heard it was amazing) by the way the new sisterhood of the travelling pants is out, but I couldn't make myself pay hardcover prices LOL. Then we are off to the mall. Picked up a nice tank and pair of dress pants from Evny. Saw a really nice hat I may get at the Gap. Then we are off to pick up some take out Indian from India Gate (great indian restaurant in town) and then over to Sarahs for a night of Greys and some treats, Anietra brought some great stuff.

Today woke up at 8:00, started reading my new book and fell asleep until like 12:30. It felt great. Now I'm doing laundry, just finished eating brunch and will soon be off to deliver Sarah to the airport. Then its off to the grocery store to pick up a few needed items, maybe to the mall to pick up that cute hat and them home to do some reading for tomorrow and maybe a bit of my book. I'd like to pick up a mocha too. Having that one yesterday started the addiction all over again. Then tonight I have to head to the gym and then get a good nights rest for tomorrow.

Weekends are never truly relaxing, but they are fun!

Heather is making cookies now, I must sneak downstairs and steal a few, LOL

January 27!!

What is that date? Well that is the day I leave for Edmonton. Yes I booked my flight tonight and Sandy so far has booked us into one of the Delta's. Shannon will either be driving or flying into Edmonton with some of his friends. I'll be there from January 27 till January 30, the date of my interview. We plan to have a bit of fun discovering the city. I want to go to West Edmonton mall and Shannon wants to go to the hockey game. I'm sure we will fit it all in.

It will be the last time we see eachother for a while since I will be leaving for Australia February 19 and not returning until March 31. Yip a nice 6 weeks with Heather down under. Then its back to school to prepare for the wonderful LMCC. Should be a blast. Then its Mexico for 10 days I think and then graduation.

I'll be doing a bit more traveling for interviews between Edmonton and Australia. I'm trying to convince my dad to come with me to Montreal. I have to be there for 2 days. May as well have some good company. I so love Montreal. Its been a while since I've been back. Not since I graduated in 2001. Wow seems like forever now. I want to walk through McGill again, do a bit of shopping and maybe catch a hockey game if I can convince someone to come with me. Maybe Heather can be convinced. LOL. We shall see.

Wedding Pics

I thought I'd post some pics of Annabeth and Scotts wedding that was December 30. It was a beautiful wedding, there is even a pic of shannon and I there. I thought the wedding cake is amazing and was made by her mom. Can't wait to see the professional pics, should be some nice. I guess the whole wedding party was like standing in the snow for 2 hours. Talk about chilly, glad it wasn't me.

Anyway Shannon and I went to his nephews bday party today. Afterwards we did a bit of shopping. I got myself this really nice wine decanter at Bowring. I've been looking for one for a while. I'll get Heather to take a pic of it after so I can post it since I don't have a digital myself. LOL. Then we headed to the gym for a nice workout.

On a different note I got my grad pics taken, proofs turned out fairly nice. Got to put my order in soon before my mother hunts me down. I also brought my grad ring home for my parents to check out. Got that back in November. Its quite exciting. Now if I only had a clue where I was going to be I'd be all set. LOL

I've also started picking out some things for the wedding. We have picked July of 2008 for our wedding. We would liked to have done it this June but with my graduation and class trip and if we buy a house it may be just too much. So July it is. Shannon's sister Linda has been helping pick out some colours. I think primrose and a green or brown would be beautiful. I won't be having a large bridal party. Just cosy. Just like our wedding, not big, just cosy. The way I figure we aren't getting married for other people. Just ourselves.
