What a storm!

Over 60 cm of snow.

Missed 3 flights and now I'm only able to get off this damn island On Tuesday at 5:55 am. I was suppose to be in Woodstock, NB Saturday. Oh well, thats is life as they say. Instead I spent 3 hours yesterday shoveling a mountain of snow.

Now am I bitter because I had to shovel snow? I don't mind shoveling, no that is not that issue. I'm not one of those prissy little girls who can go to the gym and work out for 2 hours on a crosstrainer or ellipitical machine, but can't lift a shovel. That do their makeup and wear skimpy little tops and tight shorts to the gym. No that is not me. I hate those girls. Ok hate may be a strong word, but come on. Females have come so far, why turn it around by being a stupid scank. Further more, are you looking to pick up at the gym? Get over it, what are you going to get at the gym? Another air head guy who is all muscle bound and dumb as a brick. Yes like a brick. Because no one with any common sense is going to want to go with the air head making wearing gym chick. Anyway that is so far off topic, LOL. Anyway I went outside and shoveled and it was fine. No complaints but just about every person on my street has a snowblower and they all saw this young girl shoveling for 3 hours and not a single one offered to give me a hand. I mean I live in Newfoundland, what happened to the nice newfie. Well they definetly don't live in St. john's, well at least not on my street! To top that my neighbour, who was outside doing his gate, walks by me and says now keep working, no breaks. I cursed him down to the lowest in my head. I won't mention what I wanted to do to him.

Shortly after coming in the house I decided to go tanning, figured the heat would help my now sore back. As I was walking out the door my neighbour yells out to me to tell me that he got a flat tire when he parked his car on the street and how it was a tragedy that he would have to go buy another winter tire. How he was moving his back tire to the front and putting on a all season tire on the back. I looked over at him and simply said, "better you then me!" And I did not offer him a drive to go get a new tire. You can move your tire from the back to the front and then go get your own. Screw that!! LOL. I was a bit wicked and I was in pain at this point. I'm surely not going to feel pity for someone who wouldn't even offer to help. Not to mention that he blew some of his snow on my stairs and in my driveway again.

Ok I'm finished venting.
